About Uncle Sim Wright

Uncle Sim Wright lived in this room from 1924 until 1964 with his wife, Aunt Martha, who was often seen rocking on the large porch.

There were fifteen people in his extended family and no plumbing.

Our former next door neighbor was born in the sitting room since the Wrights were her grandparents.  

During the 70's Conyers House became a hippie commune. The hippies burned the original doors to the built-in wardrobe
